    I have a URL link with user parameters as query strings, because I need to use that info on the webpage:

    https://website.com/download-van-build-guide/?firstname={{contact.first_name}}&email={{contact.email}}

    But I also want to use a Smartlink so I can tag whoever has clicked that link. Can I simply put the above with the query params as the target for the Smartlink? I don’t think this works.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @hudsontek,

    Regarding your query, I would like to clarify that FluentCRM smartcodes are designed to be used internally and specifically within our email templates. Because of this architectural design, using them directly on a landing page to capture data via the URL is not currently feasible as they will not automatically render or map that information once the user lands on the external page.

    That said, I would love to help you move this forward. I can certainly take your case as a feature request and forward it to our development team for consideration in a future release. To help them better understand the use case and implementation, could you please provide a bit more detail on how you envision this working for your workflow? Any additional context you can share will be incredibly helpful for our team as they review the request.

    I am here to assist further if you have any other questions.
