Turn off all your plugins and see if it goes away.
If not, switch to the default theme.
If not, you’ll have to actually share your link so we can look π
Hi Ipstenu,
I have just tried all as you have suggested, none work.
the site link is http://bit.ly/gm2p1E
Thanks again.
This is in your header. And it would be my guess as to what’s going on…
<script type="text/javascript">
if(document.location.protocol=='http:'){
var Tynt=Tynt||[];Tynt.push('ayGH3urLOr4iIladbi-bpO');Tynt.i={"b":true,"ap":"Read more:"};
(function(){var s=document.createElement('script');s.async="async";s.type="text/javascript";s.src='http://tcr.tynt.com/ti.js';var h=document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];h.parentNode.insertBefore(s,h);})();
}
</script>
You may have been hacked. I’ve never seen anything like this one before.
i have removed the tynt java script.
and the problem is gone !!!
Thank you so much, Ipstenu.
Sure.
Though if you had switched to the 2010 theme (i.e. the default theme) THAT should have gone away.
I tried to switch to the default theme, but it didn’t work.
No need to tag this post for me, I already know it’s there. (Hint: If I’m POSTING here, you don’t need to tag it, which asks me to come look π )
Where was the JS coming from? If it was in your header.php for the theme, check the header.php for the default theme.
if it’s in BOTH, then you’ve been hacked!
the JS is from a new company called tynt.com
i inserted the JS manually a few weeks ago and totally forgotten about it and didn’t realise it messes up my site url.
So… You put it into BOTH the header.php of Twenty Ten AND the theme you’re currently using?
What I’m trying to sort out is WHY the code showed up on the DEFAULT theme, y’see π
I didnt put it into both the header, just the current theme.
I am not sure why when I changed the theme to 2010, it still shows the extra bits.
But it’s fine now. π
