    The WordPress Team

Now, the main problem here was the URL redirects to an unknown page or an error page as the domain name has . in the end. Can I ask why there is a . at the end of the website? Is there anything we can do from our end to prevent this issue?

    Thanks, team!

  • That email uses home url in that link where you have a problem. You can go to Settings > General in your backend check what is set on Site Address (URL)

Generally, WordPress Address (URL) & Site Address (URL) both should be the same and there should be no (/) slash at the end.

If you both are the same there then you need to disable SendGrid mail SMTP then use the default one if that works and send mail, then you can send a reset password link on the form your profile page. On that page, you’ll the home url at the end of the email as plain text. if that is coming ok then you should check to send grid options or ask their support to understand this issue.

    Hi Vijay,

I don’t see any option as Site Address (URL) in Settings –>> General.
Are you asking us to check in Phpmyadmin? I see the home and site URL in PHPMyAdmin is same for both.

I don’t see any option as Site Address (URL) in Settings –>> General.

You should see something like https://snipboard.io/3UmHsz.jpg
or maybe you have a Network site setup.

If you see those inputs in the General Settings page but if they are non-editable then you must have those addresses set in the wp-config.php file as constant.
