URL’s as Documents

    Hi,

    We’re using this as an intranet document library and it works great, except some documents are URL’s to external webpages, pdf’s, etc.

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to add these URL’s as “documents”, instead of uploading a document. We almost have it working in conjunction with the Page Links To plugin, but it seems that a document has to be uploaded in order for the document to appear (which makes sense in most cases). We can work around this by uploading a blank file, but that’s not ideal.

    It would be great to either enter a URL instead of uploading a document or turn off the requirement for a document to be uploaded.
