    Hi,

    Many thanks for taking the time to read my WordPress problem.

    I have run a Site Audit report on Ahrefs, which has highlighted a number of issues that I am working through, however I am stuck on the issue of ‘URLs using HTTP protocol that redirect to HTTPS’ – issue wording copy below.

    URLs using HTTP protocol that redirect to HTTPS.

    How to fix

    It is recommended to use direct links to HTTPS versions of the pages on your website to avoid unnecessary redirects.

    Firstly, how do I fix the issue? it only appears to be the homepage that is causing an issue, all other pages are not listed.

    If I do not fix the issue, what is the consequence?
