Hi,

I was looking through the documentation but could not find this.

Is it possible to let the chatbot populate product form fields based on the chat session. E.g. let say you have a shoe as product. The customer chats with the AI bot and they decide on size and color. Can that be fed as input to a product with input fields?

While there is no out-of-the-box “update product fields” feature in the chatbot, this is something you can implement using function calling.

This allows you to declare a tool that your chatbot can call, for example an “update product” function, which can then modify product details in real time.
