Use first step data into second step

I want to use the first step data into the second step form.
I used [email* email class:form-control placeholder "Email.."] in the first step form. I tried [email* email class:form-control placeholder "Email.."] and [multiform “email”] in the second form none of them work for me. I checked the forum. Please help.
