• When I have the “Use Javascript Support” option selected and you click submit to the form, instead of the success message, it shows the page’s HTML.

This plugin feature worked fine on the staging site which uses the same hosting platform etc. The error happens on the migrated site. I have reinstalled the plugin anew with no luck.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!!

  • Hey there,

Thanks for posting! To clarify “the page’s HTML”, are you seeing actual HTML code appear on your site? Or is the issue moreso that rather than a success message, the user is being taken to another website? (presumably your MailChimp-hosted form’s thank you page)

If the latter, it’s possible there may be a Javascript conflict with another plugin on your site (which, if your staging site didn’t have the same plugins installed, could be an explanation). One thing to try would be to disable all other plugins, then try the form again to see if the same issue occurs.

If the above doesn’t work, or my assessment of the issue isn’t correct, feel free to post back here. If you could provide a link to your site in question, that’d be preferred too!
