Use markdown in comments

I prefer to use markdown instead of rich text or quicktags because it’s quick and less cluttered, and I was wondering if that’s an option in the plugin. I’ve been searching through the settings, but I don’t see it… so maybe it isn’t? Or am I just blind…

If it’s not an option, could you please consider adding it. Thank you
