Use object cache with wordpress.

    Hi i have the following situation:

    i have a forum website with wordpress boss theme installed and buddypress + bbpress. (http://beleggersforum.net) I want to make my site faster. I have a vps with transip. I heard object caching is the way to go. I have w3 total cache installed with disk object caching. I want to enable the other options. I can’t use alternative php cache because my server doesn’t allow me to do. Is it easy to set up xcache or eaccelerator? And will it be an improvement in performance?
