    Hi –

After installing this plugin, the site health is showing following warning:

Use shared memory (PHP Shmop) for interprocess communication

However, the shmop is already enabled on the hosting server running my WordPress. Please suggest how to resolve it. I tried other Acpu plugins and they don’t show such a warning. But I want to go only with your plugin as it is a dedicated Acpu plugin with great functionality.

    Thanks,

    Harsh

    Hi @harshs !

You can safely ignore this message. Shared memory doesn’t interfere with APCu usage. This message is a standard message from the PerfOps One suite and is not specifically intended for APCu Manager.

Nevertheless, your question tells me that “warning” is too much. It should rather be “informational”. It will be fixed in the next release, thank you for this (unintentional) suggestion 😉

Btw, if you have this message it’s because shmop extension is not working properly on your server. But, once again, it will have no impact on APCu and APCu Manager…
