• I’ve got the official Matomo Analytics plugin, which to my understanding is in fact an instance of Matomo. But their dashboard tools are terrible, and because I’d like to have a nice interface without going to the plugin settings, I’m looking at WP-Matomo Integration (WP-Piwik) for its wordpress dashboard functionality. But the Matomo analytics plugin does not seem to provide a specific API key or even for that matter I don’t know which URL to use…
Is it possible to combine both plugins ?

@zyfihx developer from the other Matomo plugin here. I don’t think it’s possible to use both together as there’s no token auth which may be needed. BTW did you know on the Matomo -> Summary page you can pin widgets to the dashboard? We’re still missing some graphs though etc.

@tsteur indeed I know I can pin certain metrics, but they’re not interactive and there are no graphs… And I’m used to stats being interactive, going through tabs to see different things, right from the dashboard, like GA Google Analytics 😊

You have to install your own Matomo instance to use this one in combination with WP-Matomo. Not sure if Matomo Analytics allows to enter its integrated Matomo instance as a standalone Matomo as well, so that you can use its URL and auth token… but as @tsteur I do not recommend to mix this up.
