Use Yoast with Posts only

    I am trying to stop Yoast from interacting with my web pages, I only want Yoast to interact with my Posts. Is this possible?

    Thanks for reaching out. Can you provide more context into what you mean by interact? Are you referring to our content analysis analyzing your posts only or having the Yoast SEO meta box on posts alone?

    I am stuck with a theme builder called Bricks. When I activate Yoast it changes all the page titles and Meta descriptions (ad i have tried to change them in Yoast, and it does not work. Since I have a minimal understanding on how Bricks operates I made my posts by simply using the WordPress blocks builder, but I have no way of adding a meta description. That is why I only want Yoast to be active for my posts.

    Thanks for the context shared. You can turned OFF Yoast SEO per content type in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types. Toggle OFF the button: Enable SEO controls and assessments
