Useful for plugin developers too?

Hi guys,

I’m looking for an easy way to start integrating the customizer into my plugins (using type => option so options persist between theme changes). The idea would be my plugin creates a few frontend pages and I’d like to give the user some flexibility in customizing them.

Would this be a good fit for that use?
