@mackpack, please note this forum is intended for reviews of the plugin (not the app, itself). The plugin does perform its currently stated function – hiding posts of a specific category from the home page of your blog. Additional features may soon be on the way.
Indeed, the app is quite similar to Instagram; yet, it allows you to retain rights to your images and has proven to increase traffic to your blog. Additional filters and editing options are coming in v2.0.
As you mentioned, most support is being handled at help.pressgr.am, and as the community grows, i’m certain support with improve. I’ve been using Pressgram pretty regularly and have begun some development on the WordPress end. Let me know if I can assist with any questions you might have.
What good is that if the app is so broken it doesn’t let you post? As I said, while it works well for some sites, it is a complete non-starter for others. 100% useless in those cases, and support is no help.
“Most support”? Read the policy again: it says “NOT via this forum”.
Regardless, any plugin where the dev gives himself 5 stars, without disclosure, is 1 star by default to balance out that vote.

True, if the app is not working for your WordPress site, something needs to be sorted. It should work with on most hosts with a clean install. It seems there may be some hidden issues with certain hosts or server setups.
True, official support will not be via this forum. However, community support may arise from anywhere, as I even offer myself.
I’m agreed on a dev giving their product 5 stars … not a big fan of that. Not sure if it’s always automatically worthy of a 1 star to balance, but I get it.
Hey @mackpack,
Just was wondering if you have been able to try v2.0 of Pressgram with the latest version of the plugin. Let us know if you might reconsider your thoughts about Pressgram.
