• Slows down WP in general. And I do not see a reason for the plugin, if you can add headers for Google Analyze codes.

It won’t harm not to have Google list my site, nor have it being indexed. I don’t use Google to search for websites nor the people I know for same reasons, not for Privacy reasons, but it is a useless tool and useless service. You cannot find anything of worth in Google Search.

More important, I think the tool is as useless as Google Search. Who really uses Google Search? Of course, there are Stats to say the many do use Google Search, but who made these stats?

It’s more of a plugin I think, for Google to collect info.

The relation is not as symbiotic, I feel Google and the plugin are more of a leach in this situation.

    Hi @witch013,

Sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the plugin. We do take these reviews seriously and I’d be happy to review your site with you to check for anything that may be impacting performance. Site Kit itself is primarily an admin operated panel plugin, with the only output on a users front end – visible by checking a sites source code, being a meta tag. This appears after activating and setting up Site Kit, and has no impact on performance.

If users choose to connect other services such as Analytics, AdSense or Tag Manager there will be additional requests made to these services. This is the same as manually inserting these snippets, Site Kit does not make any additional requests that impact performance on the front end of users site.

If you want to share your site URL I can perform a check on your site to see if I notice anything unusual.
