Hi, thank you for your plugin it seems very interesting, but I have a small problem with it.

When I create a filter in a filter set the “Where to filter” (Location) and “What to filter” fields are always inactive and have “Available in PRO” labels. From what I understand these are required fields for any filter to work, so basically it blocks any filter creation, rendering the whole free version useless.

I’ve thoroughly examined the documentation and it seems these fields should basically be available in free version, but they’re not. Is it an intended behaviour or some kind of a mistake?

Please let me know, because I’m really interested in your plugin and otherwise will have to use a competitor solution.

    Thank you

    Hello @publikk

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything.

Indeed these fields are available in the PRO version only, but without them you can filter posts/products on their native archives. For example on Shop page, all category, tag, author pages, date archives and so on. PRO version allows you to setup filtering even on singular pages where post/product grids usually are created with page builders.

You can watch this video to ensure that Free version is also has powerful features to filter – https://youtu.be/g1_qlJvNdsg

    Okay, I see.

On the PRO version purchase page I see 6-months support. What exactly does it mean? The plugin stops updating after 6 months?

If you will buy the PRO version you will get lifetime plugin udpates.
6 months support period means next:
    – Availability of the author to answer questions
    – Get assistance with reported bugs and issues
    – Help with included 3rd party assets
