    Hello Team – We have disabled the user login option because we do not want donors to log in and access a donor dashboard. However, when someone makes a donation, GiveWP automatically creates a user account using their email address under Users → All Users in the WordPress admin.

    We would like to know how we can stop GiveWP from creating user accounts in the Users section. It’s fine if the donor appears under GiveWP → Donors, but it should not create a WordPress user account under Users → All Users.

    How can we prevent this?

    Glad you reached out, happy to help!

    We would like to know how we can stop GiveWP from creating user accounts in the Users section.

    The WP user account is created by design, so there isn’t a way to turn that off. Our team had a discussion about this during development of version 3.0, when the visual form builder was introduced. I’m linking a closed Feature Request for this for more information in a public comment from the product/development team on how they came to that intentional decision.
