User Creation Oddity

I recently had a spam create a username then model it’s profile information after one of my users. It tried to post, but of course couldn’t because of how I have new users permission levels set.

The problem is that when I deleted it, it also deleted the user that it had modeled it’s information after. Not sure how to fix that, and is there a way to restore that user?

My second question is does anyone know of a plugin that will let you see what user action history? I’ve got a few users who help me manage the site and I want to be able to see what they’ve done when they login (if possible). Thanks!
