User Galleries

A basic question. I would like users to be able to upload pics and videos to their own individual galleries. If that is not best practice, I’ll appreciate any suggestions. I do have a method for them to upload to a server, but that requires me to do transfers and gallery setups. I’d like to make the process user based if possible.
