User Homepage Plugin

I’m looking for a user homepage feature; Buddypress is out/ I don’t like the features and it messes up the look of my site; I’d just like to give readers the opportunity to publish their own page from a fill-in fields form. An images upload option would be nice, as well as the opportunity to approve pages before going live.

Any alternatives to Buddypress allowing some kind of controlled/predefined user-generated content would be great.

Suggestions would be appreciated.
