Hi @pwforaker, thanks for your message.

If you can still edit your post I’d recommend censoring your email addresses slightly if they’re not already changed in some way. These are public and searchable forums, so it’s just best to be safe.

We don’t use the admin address in your WordPress General Settings. Instead, navigate to Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > Where to email alerts to see if that’s where your personal email is set. If not, I’d check any SMTP plugins or the mail settings in cPanel to see if everything sent directly through your site has a redirect.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Thanks, Peter. Doesn’t appear to be possible for me to edit my message, alas.

I’ll check the Where to Mail..

The “Where to email notifications” field is empty.

    The mystery continues.

    Hi @pwforaker,

Unfortunately we don’t have access to edit your post ourselves, which is reserved for ww.wp.xz.cn moderators.

If you try re-setting that field in Wordfence to the email address you prefer rather than leaving it blank, does it start sending the emails to the correct destination? I would certainly explore the idea of redirection of emails either through the mailsend software on your server or SMTP WordPress plugins.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
