I can’t figure out what I’m missing here. My user panels are missing from several blogs. All are updated to 2.8.6, and they have most of the same plugins. Users are not missing from my older WP installations (with different plugins).

Here is an image of my panels: http://www.3streamflow.com/share/wp-missing-user-panel.gif

Where do I start to figure out what the issue is? Please tell me it is just something simple that I’m not thinking of.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

I was dreading the deactivations, but

    Update:
    – deactivated all plugins, and USERS ARE BACK!

The offending plugin was Profiless, which was only supposed to remove access to profile page for subscribers but removed it for everyone.

That wasn’t so bad at all. I appreciate you taking the time.

You’re welcome. Thanks for posting the solution. Perhaps it will help someone else using that plugin.
