    Hi,

It looks like only admins can see the broken link checker?
But it is the editors that need to be able to see the broken links so they can fix them!

Is it possible to give them permissions to see the list of broken links?

    Thanks!!

    Hi @omniafausta ,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I understand this is for the local(legacy) option of the Broken Link Checker, it is correct that it’s not possible to allow the Editor to access it, only admin users would have access to this.

I’m afraid this adding this will be outside the scope of support we can provide. For that, you’ll need to hire a developer to provide the required custom code for you. WordPress provides a jobs directory here https://jobs.wordpress.net/, if you need further advice about it, feel free to email [email protected].

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. To answer your question: I am using the cloud version.

Just realized I might have to change things in The hub then and not at WordPress.
I’ll see if I can make it work that way, thanks.

    Hello @omniafausta

Thank you for the clarification. However, I am afraid, similar to the local version, the Cloud Version of the BLC is too accessible only for the Admin User.

We do have an improvement task about allowing access to the Editor role for the BLC (Local) however, as of now I will not be able to share an exact ETA as to when it will be released. But subscribing to our roadmap https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/ is a good way to be posted about upcoming versions, once they are released, it is going to be described at changelog found on https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/broken-link-checker/#developers

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh

    Hi @omniafausta

As said above, this was already forwarded to our developers and I am marking this thread as resolved, but if you have any additional questions feel free to let us know.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
