    Can I restrict duplication functionality to certain user roles only?

    Yes, this is supported.

    In the General Settings of the plugin, you can find the Permissions section. There you can enable or disable duplication functionality for specific user roles (Administrators, Editors, Authors, etc.).

    This allows you to control exactly who can use the duplicate feature. If you need help setting this up, feel free to ask.
