As already explained numerous times, the plugin works great on default installation of WordPress. If it’s not working as expected, it could be a wide variety of things, depending on how you’ve got your site set up, server config, and so on. It could be another plugin, the theme you are using, hosting settings, a third-party script, .htaccess rules, ad nauseam. As you can imagine, it’s difficult if not impossible to just “guess” accurately at which of these many factors may be at issue with the thousands of line of code in the plugin. If you have a specific error that you are getting, then please let us know so we can fix it. Otherwise, please check the documentation and settings to make sure that everything is properly configured on the plugin side. After that, use the official WP troubleshooting guide to further diagnose as needed. Or just use another plugin 🙂

NataschaM,
No need to use a plugin in which the author is as rude as this one. There is a MUCH better frontend plugin that allows users to submit posts and has a wonderful plugin author that has fantastic customer service. (He helps with plugin and theme compatibility too to make sure the plugin works for YOU)
There is a free and paid version of the plugin. It is called WP User FrontEnd and can be found here: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-user-frontend/ and here: http://wedevs.com/plugin/wp-user-frontend-pro/
I use this on all of my sites that need a frontend solution. Hope this helps you! Happy New Year 🙂
