User Profile url returns 404 error

    My site was running OK with no issue. Suddenly I discovered that user can logged in to site but when they are clicking any link specific to user profile (My profile etc) it returns 404 error,(Profile URL not working!!!)

    Checked with permalinks, .htaccess file and user setting but looking good.
    Can you please help to get out of this.

    First please let me know what plugin have you recently updated or installed?
    Then please let me know, have you made any changes in file system?

    And, please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General tab and click on the [Update options] button.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your time,
    1. Recently I have removed Akismet Anti-Spam and updated yoast but after that also site was running fine.
    2. No changes in file system.
    3.navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General tab and clicked on the [Update options] button

    But problem not resolved….pls suggest
    Forgot to mention.. forum page also returns same 404 error

    @joydeep99,
    What is the value of forum Base URL option in the Forums > Settings > General Tab?
    Please navigate to Dashboard > Pages admin page, find the forum page, edit it and make sure it contains[wpforo] shortcode.

    Are you asking for Page ID ?
    Yes it contains [wpforo] shortcode.

    No, I’m asking for the “Forum Base URL” option value in the General Tab of Dashboard > Forums > Settings page. Also, Please leave some screenshot of your permalink settings, click the [update options] button of the permalinks settings too.

    Forum base URL is http://www.askmro.com/forum
    Permalink common setting is on 5th option, post name (i.e. website url/sample=post

    @joydeep99 What do you mean saying “url/sample=post”?
    Do you mean this one:

    Plain https://example.com/?p=123

    If so, please change it to some SEO friendly option, something like this:

    Post name https://example.com/sample-post/

    Please note, that wpForo doesn’t work with the first ?p=123 option of permalinks, You should use SEO friendly URLs not this option.

    Yes, it’s good. Set it, then delete all caches.
