    Hello,

First I want to say how great Forminator is especially for a Free plugin. I also see many uses for the pro version on my sites once I iron out a few details with the registration form. Having said that have a free membership site in which I need to allow parents to add family members to the platform potential without e-mail addresses.

I accomplished most of this by using a Forminator registration form. Adding users works as expected, however I nee to allow users to be added either without e-mail or with the same e-mail their parents are registered with. I made changes to WP Core to allow either no email or duplicate e-mail address and that works fine via the WP admin interface. Unfortunately when using Forminator i still get either e-mail required or e-mail already in use error messages. I have disabled validate and “required; fields setting on the e-mail field but It appears that Forminator is still doing some validation on the e-mail address.

Is there a way to stop this? I have accomplished this with outer plug ins as well but to be honest I dont like them as much as Forminator. Your plugin rocks, I just need to to allow user registration without email.

    Hi @sgingell

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I’m afraid this isn’t possible currently and would require serious changes to plugin core. There’s no hooks in code related to this process that could let us create custom code to overcome this validation.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
