User registration problem

Hello,

I have “enabled user registration” in the settings section of wpForo. However, after making an account, new users are prompted to set a password from WordPress (via email) and not from the forum or my site’s admin email specifically. Rather than receive the subscription confirmation email shown in Forum >> Settings >> Emails, new accounts receive an email from WordPress directing them to “wp-admin”, with an email message I have not set. How can I fix this so that new forum users log in via the forum log-in and not “wp-admin”?

To try and fix this, I have enabled and disabled the “Anyone can register” tickbox in WordPress’s general settings. However, it did not change anything.
