User Role

    Hi. I am trying to use this awesome plug in. When I put a value in for the Role column it isn’t populating in the Role field after import … instead it is populating at the bottom under Other Capabilities.
    How can I populate the Role for users I’m importing?

    Hi Beverly,

    Thank you for using Import Users From CSV and thank you for the the kind words.

    Could you please test this with a test user and set their role to ‘subscriber’ (all lowercase). You also need to use the registered name for the role (i.e my_role instead of My Role).

    I’ve found that sometimes this may be case-sensitive when working with user roles.
