    I set up a super simple user role based discount rule in which there was only one condition which was “User role” tying up with the list of “Subscribers”. I switched off all other rules in order to test run this single rule. My “condition relationship” was also set to “Match Any” (let alone “Match All”). I tried too many times but it just didn’t work at all.

    I also tested it with the original Storefront theme but still the same thing.

    Who would tell what’s up here?

    Once we add the User role “Subscriber” as an additional condition, the discount will be applied when we log in with the Subscriber role. Could you please log in as a Subscriber and confirm this by checking the discount?

    Yes you are right. It works after the user signing in. Thank you very much!

    On the other hand, is it possible to have an option to allow a user to apply user role based discount without logging in? A use case iclould be like a welcome discount – it’ll be perfect for a user to directly head over to apply the discount as soon as he signs up.
