I am curious why my contributors role has access to certain plugins. How and or where can I fix this? Under the users dashboard certain plugins show up that are accessible to them. I cant have this. Please help!!

    I mean subscriber role.

    This is not default behaviour.

The permissions associated with each role are configured in the database.
Save yourself some time, and download a ‘user roles’ plugin.

This table shows what the default permissions are in wordpress:

Any suggestion on a good plugin for this? I downloaded one called user role editor but it shows that the subscriber only has level_0 access. So based on that those couple plugins should not being showing up in the users dashboard. It also would not allow me to set any plugin permissions.
