• I am looking for what I can only assume is a plugin that will allow users to select the them they wish to use via their profile. Or at least a way that the Admin group can have a different theme. The reason I am wanting this is so that I can develop a new theme on my current production site and not let anyone see it besides my users account or users I wish to allow. Is there such a plugin or a way of doing this? Thanks in advance.

I’m not aware of any such plugin. However, I’d recommend installing a local copy of WordPress on your home computer and developing the theme there, and then uploading the theme afterwards.

    Get XAMPP.
    Install it.
Run it and start up Apache and MySQL.
Create a new database in MySQL.
Install a copy of WordPress into the htdocs folder.
You can now go through the normal wordpress install and configuration and setup a local copy of the software on http://localhost and such.

Well I have another linux box already setup, and have apache and such installed on my powerbook already… just would be nice to have it all in one place… I guess I am a little difficult 😉

    Look for Preview Theme plugin

moshu, I gave that a try. And it doesn’t work, either because of the normal wordpress cache being enabled or the fact I am on wordpress 2.2….
