    Hi there,

I’ve encountered a little issue when logging in. I have this setup:

    • Login form by WPForms
    • User registration form by WPForms
    • Simple Membership

    The issue is simple.

    • If I log in using the WPForms form, the “Remember me” box enabled, and SM active, the login cookie is set to expire when the browser is closed (so its value is session).
    • If I log in using the WPForms form, the “Remember me” box enabled, and SM not active, the login cookie is set to expire after a few days. This is the correct behaviour.
    • If I log in using the /wp-admin, the “Remember me” box enabled, and SM active, also works correctly.

Do you know how I can fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, have you enabled the following feature Logout Member on Browser Close located in Advanced Settings tab?

    Kind regards.

    Hi @mbrsolution,

No, that setting is disabled 🙁

Are you talking about login into WP and not your membership area? If you are, we currently don’t have an integration with WPForms plugin. What happens when you log into your membership area using our plugin and you check the remember me option? What happens then?

    Kind regards.

I will try it. But I have a question, @mbrsolution . Is it possible to have a single page that contains both the Simple Membership login form shortcode and a signup form created with WPForms? Would that be a problem from your perspective?

And if I am logged in and go to the page with your login form shortcode, can I somehow hide it (it makes no sense to show it to logged in users)?

    Thank you.

I would not recommend it myself. I have never tried this myself to tell you the truth.

And if I am logged in and go to the page with your login form shortcode, can I somehow hide it (it makes no sense to show it to logged in users)?

Are you logging into the WP area first and then navigating to the membership login widget? Is this what you mean?

    Kind regards.

    Yes, exactly 🙂

Apologies, I forgot to reply to the following question.

You can try using our mini login widget. The following documentation has more information.

    Regards.
