Users being bulk unsubscribed automatically

    Hi,

    I’ve just noticed that we’ve had a number of users bulk unsubscribed from our mailing list automatically. I can see that they’ve all been unsubscribed with almost exactly the same time stamp. It’s happened on a day that an email has been sent out to the list, but the unsubscribed time is 5-10 minutes before the email has been sent out. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

    Hi @megdel313,

    Sorry to hear that. We’ve implemented the two-steps unsubscribe process to prevent this from happening. Can you please confirm you’re using the latest version of the plugin and your subscribers need to confirm they want to unsubscribe?

    Yes, I’m using the latest version of the plug-in. I don’t think it was user initiated. There are instances of 20-30 members being unsubscribed at the same time. In one instance my account was one of the ones unsubscribed and I’m certain I didn’t receive a notification or initiate it. It’s strange that it’s happened several minutes before an email was even sent out. I can’t think of how that would trigger members to be unsubscribed.
