Users Can Still Create Posts

Even though I have turned off access to posts inside the White Label CMS settings, clients are able to create posts by clicking on the +New button in the admin bar.
While Posts does not appear as an option in the dropdown menu, clicking the +New button itself opens up the Add New Post page.
Can this be fixed?
