Users can’t login using 2FA

    Hello, on one of my sites I have 2 users who are unable to login to the site with their 2FA codes.

    I have so far tested various potential issues, such as disabling recaptcha, resetting their 2FA codes, and are still unable to login.

    Also their recovery codes haven’t worked either.

    This issue is only affecting these 2 users, no other account has had any issues with 2FA being enabled.

    Did you try having them switch to another authenticator like Google’s?

    They’ve told me that they’re using the Microsoft Authenticator. Is this likely to cause an issue?

    I’m not sure why the authenticator app being used would cause a problem.

    I don’t think so but trying Google Authenticator has solved the issue for some people.

    Thanks for your help, I ran through the process with the user, and have deduced this was user error.
