Users dashboard/Submit posts

    Hi

    Im new to WP..

    I would like to give my registred users possibility to submit articles but NOT have the option “Edit” and “Delete” others posts…
    only, if possible, theyr own articles…

    Is this possible? If so, how and what do i have to do/download?

    ps.. i have read about roles.. but did not figure out how to remove the edit og delete posts in dashboard for contributors or enable “Write posts” for eg subscribers

    Any help on this please?

    What you describe sounds like the contributer role to me. Contributers can create posts, and edit posts they create, but cannot edit anyone else’s posts. Contributors can’t actually publish posts though. They can only submit them for review. The actual publishing is done by someone with higher authority. You can install any of several role manager plugins if you want to tweak these things.
