users seperated?

    Good morning.

    i was wondering if a user signs up for the giveaway, does it automatically creates a WordPress account for the user? if it does, why does the user needs to ”activate” their ”account” while it’s not ”account” but just ”giveaway confirmation” that you have joined?

    there is no need for activating an account that already exists and if it does not, why do we keep farming email addresses while it can even be way more simple?

    Hi @knoepert, sorry that you feel like that. I just came from a long trip so it takes some time to go over all emails and support (because I am the only one working on it).

    To answer your question, it does not create a user account. Each giveaway is a separate content to which someone has to subscribe to. I might look into making subscribers that were activated on another giveaway to become active without confirmation.
