Using a Shared SSL Cert Redirect

I’m new to SSL certs and have done a little research, but didn’t find a proper answer using google.
I am using ipage for my hosting, and they offer a free shared ssl cert, but it is in the form of https://www.myname.ipage.com/<anyfile>. Can I redirect this address to http://www.mysite.com and have ssl on my site?
