Using ajax for threaded comments – overkill?

    Recently I tried adding threaded comments to my dads blog via brians threaded comments http://meidell.dk/archives/2004/09/04/nested-comments/
    to no avail. I then found out that I could install ajax and use ajax to implement threaded comments. I have a feeling that this is way overkill. If someone who comes across the blog who doesn’t have javascript installed, they won’t be able to see/deal with the ajax stuff, right? If anyone knows of a solid plugin to add threaded comments please let me know, as I’d rather not use ajax.
