Using both Columnfilter and Buttons

I can use this table shortcode and it works perfectly thanks to help from Tobias.

[table id=1 datatables_columnfilterwidgets=true datatables_columnfilterwidgets_exclude_columns=3,4 /]

I would also like to add buttons above to Print and save as PDF etc.

[table id=1 datatables_buttons=”colvis,copy,csv,excel,pdf,print” /]

Is it possible please to combine both into one?

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

So, to display both extensions, you need to add :
“dom”: “BWlfrtip”
in the “custom commands” of your table:

Thanks Tobias … is custom commands the same place as the css code in the plugin options or a different location.

Hi,

no, that’s a different location. The “Custom Commands” field is on the table’s “Edit” screen. The “Custom CSS” field is on the “Plugin Options” screen.
