Using brackets in widets

    Is it not possible to us brackets in widgets at all. No matter what I’ve tried, from polls to merge codes, the brackets with the text inside them display – that’s all. They don’t execute.

    Assuming you mean [shortcodes], these normally need to be placed within the body of a post or page. So, the short answer is – No, they won’t work in a widget.
