    Good afternoon,

I’m using this plugin with Gravity Forms and it worked fine until i introduced CAPTCHA to a form. Since adding it to a form automatically makes that field mandatory, I don’t think the plugin is really seeing it as that because there is no setting where you specify that it’s mandatory. So when you complete all the mandatory fields but leave CAPTCHA out, the easy fancybox just closes and only when you re-open it can you see the error message for CAPTCHA, saying that it’s a compulsory field. Are you able to provide any support with this?

    Thanks.

  • Hi, I’m not a Gravity Forms user so I cannot test this… Is there an option in Gravity Forms that forces a form to use Ajax submission? If so, make sure that is switched on.

If that is already the case, then I suppose the captcha extension forces it to submit the old-fashioned way which makes the page refresh and thus breaks the fancybox modal window too. Then there is nothing that can be done about it except look for another human input verification method.

Thank you for the guidance! I found that ajax is already on for the form and then found a resource, which says that due to the limitations of captcha, forms containing it don’t get submitted via ajax even if it’s enabled. It’s a shame but thank you for looking into it initially anyway!
