Using custom booking statuses

    Is it possible to add a custom booking status to show if an attendee actually attended or not?

    The database is using status codes 0 to 3, but there is not a lookup table for event statuses so I assume these are hard coded within the plugin.

    Yes, you can hook into the em_booking_get_status filter; for reference, this is located under classes/em-booking.php
