Using filename as description

    I was having issue getting the filenames as captions to appear under my thumbnails but using some modifications, from the forum, I found the solution, so that is working properly now.

    I need to get the description field to automatically generate the same filename. My descriptions are all blank in the “Alt & Title Text / Description” area of Nextgen admin panel.

    I have 800 unique filenames and it would take forever to copy the alt text into the description field in the admin panel.

    Is there a way to have Nextgen automatically do this?
