• Hi there! I am wondering if it’s possible to install Imsanity to optimize my current images, but once I go through and re-upload every image to the more optimal size manually and delete the current ones, can I deactivate insanity? I’m looking for a quick fix to help speed up my site while I manually fix the images slowly…

Also, how big of an image will Imsanity work with?

    Thanks!

  • I’m not the author, just a user.

If you have used the Bulk-Resize option this permanenetly resizes the images – with the same filenames.

So the old big files are now gone, and replaced with nice optimised images instead.
So it’s perfectly possible to remove Imsanity afterwards. The work on the existing images is now done.

Thanks for the info! I actually decided just to manually change each picture. I know, a huge pain but at least I will have them done right!
