    Hi Martin,

I’m using Rotating Tweets for the Twitter feed on http://ninasword.wpengine.com (currently in development). I’m also enqueing Cycle2 to create a cycle slideshow for a Facebook feed and client testimonials. Doing so is creating a conflict with Rotating Tweets that causes the tweet navigation not to work. Both navigation links take you to the top of the page (# anchor) and don’t cycle the tweets.

I’ve tried deregistering my Cycle2 script, and using the Rotating Tweets option “JQuery Cycle Version 2 (beta)” but again the tweet navigation doesn’t work.

The default JQuery Cycle Version 1 works, and I can create a script for my other slideshows to use Cycle1, however I have to .remove() some div’s that are input by the Facebook plugin. A little messy but it works.

Ideally I’d like to use Cycle2 so I can use the data attributes for my other slideshows.

Any hints on getting the beta version working?

    Thanks in advance,

    Joel

Version 2 doesn’t currently do this (the main reason why the script is still beta!).

I’ll see if I can get to it over the weekend.

Thanks Martin but don’t rush on my account. I’ve managed to use jQuery to get my other slideshows to work with Cycle 1.

    Enjoy your weekend,

    Joel

The development version should now support next and prev buttons with version 2 of the JavaScript in 'top', 'bottom' and 'tweets' position!

Hope it works for you! 🙂

Updated v2 of the Javascript now built into version 1.6.7. 🙂
