Using lightbox with Media & Text block

    Hi

    In Gutenberg you can now use a “Media and Text” block. How can we get the media to use your lightbox plugin? At the moment the image resizes as the view is resized in the browser. But you can’t click it and see the full scale image.

    Please advise.

    hi Andrew,

    The media and text block does not allow the image to be linked to the fullscreen image, which means FooBox will never pick it up because there is no anchor. Unfortunately this is a design restriction of the block and not an issue with FooBox

    Ok. But isn’t this an issue you can raise on Gutenberg? For them to expose something so your plugin can work? After all they want plugins to work. So if they have to do something at their end ….
