Hi Andy,
I hope your well today and thanks for your question.
In membership > options > membership pages, can you make sure all those pages are set please?
Then in membership > access levels > can you check they are all using the same ruleset, i.e, all positive or all negative.
In membership > options, make sure you haven’t set a default subscription level and just have the stranger setting set.
What payment gateways do you have active? i.e, if using PayPal. both single payments and express shouldn’t be active, only one or the other.
If serial subscriptions, set it as Paypal express.
It’s also worth noting when developing on a localhost, you won’t be able to make the transaction with PayPal, as PayPal can’t access your server (localhost).
We’re here to help 🙂
Thanks!
Kind Regards
Jack.
Hi, and thanks for the response.
I have since tried the same setup on one of my live sites and it works perfectly so I am sure the problem (which persists even after checking all your suggestions) is definitley related to localhost.
Thank you for a great plugin!
Hi there @andymason,
Hope your well today, It does appear that this could be related to a localhost setup.
Just to confirm the same setup live works perfect correct? 🙂
Glad your liking the plugin 🙂
Thanks!
Kind Regards
Jack.
Confirmed about localhost – are you able to create a fix for that?
Hi there Andy,
Hope your well today.
I’ve been discussing this with the lead developer of membership who took over the plugin a couple of months ago, he plans to rewrite the lite version and this will be looked into for that rewrite 🙂
Thanks!
Kind Regards
Jack.
Nice! Good to hear and thanks again.
I still plan to convince my client to open his wallet and buy the pro version.
